Grief Share: Loss of a Spouse

This is a special session for those who want comfort and understanding after the loss of a spouse. In this session you will be among others who have lost a spouse to establish community, be given reasons for hope, and practical tips for coping.
Celebrate Recovery 3rd Annual Chili Cook-off
Thursday, July 2 | 5:30 PM in the Ministry Center. This is open to everyone to attend. Come enjoy some great food, fellowship, worship, meet the ministry leaders and see what the Celebrate Recovery community is all about!

GVBC Kids Summer Reading & Bowling
Make God’s Word the forefront of your kids Summer!!
Pick up a Summer Reading Program packet from the Kids Ministry, complete all the boxes where kids will find verses in the Bible and read it. They will need to complete every box to reach the finish!
Every 5 boxes checked off and verified by a parent or guardian will be a trip into the Treasure Box on a Sunday morning. If your child completes their path they will be awarded a FREE PASS to the end of Summer bowling event!
Bowling Event:
August 2 | 12:30 PM - 2:45 PM
Sunset Lanes, includes lunch and bowling
*$10 per person unless reading plan finished.

Baptisms
Baptism is one of the two ordinances which Christ has called the church to observe. For the individual believer it is a step of obedience to His command, a public statement of their willingness to be identified with Him, and a picture of their death to self and resurrection to a new spiritual life.

Membership
Want to learn more about Green Valley Baptist Church? Join us for our next Membership Class. In about an hour, you’ll learn about what we believe, how we function, and what we know God has called us to be as a church. You’ll also meet our ministry leadership, find a place to serve, and become a member! Lunch is provided. Registration will open as the next class approaches.
Next Membership Class is scheduled June 28.
